Dr. Ronald Cottie Biography:
Dr. Cottie, born to Mr. Ronald L. & Loretta E. Cottie, on August 1st, 1959, is a dedicated preacher and educator. He is happily married to Co-Pastor Tracie M. Cottie, and their family includes nine children, twenty-three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Dr Cottie Served the United States of America. He is an 8-year decorated Veteran of the Armed Forces.
Dr. Cottie felt the call to ministry in 1992, and in December of 1994, he delivered his first sermon. He pursued his education at Temple Seminary & Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio, from 1993 to 2001. During his time at the college, he held various leadership roles, including Chaplain, VP of the Student Body, and President of the Student Body.
Throughout his career, Dr. Cottie has served as a pastor in different states, including Louisiana, Tennessee, and currently in South Carolina. He and his wife founded The New Covering Ministries, formerly known as the Freedom of Worship FGBC, in West Memphis, Arkansas, in 2012. Following his retirement from Kellogg's Cereal Company and relocation to Conway, S.C., the ministry was renamed in 2021.
In 2022, Dr. Cottie joined ZOE Fellowship Bible College as a professor, contributing to the institution's Pilot Year and serving on the Board of Directors. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his teaching role and is dedicated to nurturing future leaders within the ministry.
