Dr. Stephanie McKinney

Dr. Stephanie L. McKenny Biography:

Stephanie McKenny, a native of Montclair, New Jersey. She received her license to preach in August 1993 under the leadership of Pastor Robert Davis at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. She served in that ministry until she moved to South Carolina in 1996.

In March of 1996, she married Bishop Levern McKenny who is the Sr. Pastor of The Love Center Non-Denominational Church in Sumter, SC and Prayer Mountain Ministries in Columbia, SC. She is an associate pastor and serves in various capacities.

Stephanie McKenny graduated from Columbia College in Columbia where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Child & Family Studies (Early Childhood Education). She has completed her graduate studies with a master’s in counseling at Webster University (October 2018). Stephanie McKenny is currently employed as a Mental Health Counselor (LPC) at LifeStance in Columbia, SC and has recently opened her own practice, Awakening Your Life, LLC.

Stephanie McKenny is the author of over ten books. Her target audience for writing is with young girls, teens, and women. One of her teen books, Better than That, has been turned into a teen stage play production. Her recent play production is called, Dare to Dream. Her latest book is, GOD Needs You Unstuc
